Plagiarism Policy
The Global Journal of Management, Accounting, and Financial Studies upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the appropriation of another person’s ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit. This also applies to self-plagiarism, where authors reuse substantial parts of their own previously published work without proper citation.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal will be screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software before being sent for peer review. The editorial team evaluates similarity reports carefully, and manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding the acceptable threshold (typically 20%) may be returned to the author for revision or outright rejection.
In cases where plagiarism is detected after publication, the editorial board reserves the right to retract the article, issue a public notice, and take further actions as deemed necessary. Authors found to have committed plagiarism may be banned from submitting future manuscripts to the journal.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is original and that proper acknowledgment is given to all sources. The journal strongly encourages transparency, accurate citation practices, and adherence to international ethical standards in scholarly publishing.
