Alinea: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra dan Pengajaran is a scholarly journal that publishes research articles and academic studies in the fields of Language, Literature, Linguistics, and Language Teaching. The journal aims to serve as a medium for the dissemination of scholarly ideas that contribute to the development of linguistic and literary studies as well as innovations in language learning across various levels of education.

Alinea is published regularly three times a year, in April, August, and December, and has been accredited at SINTA 2 based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development of Higher Education Partnerships, Science and Technology Number 2/C/C3/KPT/2026 concerning the New Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for Period 2 of 2025.

 

Alinea: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajaran (E-ISSN 2809-4204), under ISSN Decree No. 0005.28094204/K.4/SK.ISSN/2021.12, applied a publication frequency of once every four months* during the 2021–2025 period, with issues published in April, August, and December. Starting in 2026, the journal management submitted a request to change the publication frequency to the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Center for Bibliography and Library Materials Processing / National ISSN Center of Indonesia) to once every three months, with issues scheduled for January, April, July, and October, effective from 2026.

Focus and Scope

Alinea: Journal of Language, Literature, and Teaching is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality scholarly articles based on empirical research, theoretical inquiry, and critical or conceptual studies in the fields of linguistics, literary studies, and language education.

The journal aims to promote the advancement of knowledge by encouraging innovative, interdisciplinary, and globally relevant research. Submissions must demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, and clear novelty. The journal welcomes contributions that address contemporary issues, digital transformation, and emerging trends in language, literature, and pedagogy across diverse cultural and educational contexts.
